We finally realized our dream to own a beach house. But it's a big project as we have decided to remodel the entire house. It has a great location, wonderful ocean views and "great bones" but we want to make it "our own".
I just finished making four new headboards for the beds in our beach house. I was inspired by the photo I took in Sandbridge, Va as I just love the sand fencing on the beaches on the east coast. I am not exactly sure why you don't see much of it on the west coast? They are easy to make and very inexpensive. Cost for each one was less than $25.00. Enjoy this quick and easy tutorial! You are so clever to think of using the fencing for headboards. I have been to Sandbridge every summer for the past fifteen years for lunch at the home of Dr. Parker Cross. Maybe I can come take your workshop there in the future.

Thanks so much as I had the same exact idea for our home we just bought at the beach. I wanted something different and I plan to incorporate drift wood to hid the hardware I attached to the wall to hold fence
